About Shrock Research:

Shrock Orthopedic Research (SOR) was established in 2008 by Kevin Shrock, MD, and Natalie Shrock, ARNP.  Located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in the same facilities as Ft. Lauderdale Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, it is a center of research excellence drawing study participants from all over South Florida who wish to participate in FDA approved cutting edge orthopedic research.

Dr. Shrock is the primary investigator in all of our studies. He oversees all study related patient care and is intricately involved in all aspects of our clinical trials. Ms. Shrock is one of our two clinical research coordinators and has a background as a nurse practitioner, enabling her to have a great deal of involvement in study related patient care. Wendy Schwartz, CCRC, is our other clinical research coordinator who has many years’ experience in clinical research, including the highly complex management of the regulatory details involved in successfully implementing today’s orthopedic trials.

We are currently seeking participants in many different types of orthopedic studies, ranging from those seeking participants with knee pain, shoulder pain and back pain to those looking for subjects with osteoarthritis, osteoporosis and tibial fractures, to name a few.  There is often a patient stipend offered for participation in these studies. Our flexible scheduling as well as our location within the facilities of Ft. Lauderdale Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine allows for a great deal of convenience for our patients.
