Every staff member plays an important role in helping patients, and all are focused on providing you with the best possible care and service.

All of our physicians are board certified and have extensive training in the diagnosis and management of injuries and diseases of the musculoskeletal system. This includes bones, joints, tendons and muscles. Our South Florida orthopedic surgeons treat a multitude of problems including arthritis, sprains and strains, fractures, dislocations, sports injuries, and the numerous causes of musculoskeletal pain.

Our wide range of expertise lets us create individualized treatment plans using the very latest skills and techniques. While we always attempt to treat patients with conservative measures such as physical therapy, anti-inflammatories, judicious use of steroid or visco-supplement injections, and casting or bracing, we are experts in the latest surgical techniques. These include arthroscopy of the shoulder for rotator cuff problems, shoulder bursitis or instability and dislocations and arthroscopy of the knee for meniscus, ligament and cartilage tears. We also perform arthroscopy of the hip, elbow and ankle for a variety of problems.

Our surgeons utilize the latest available implants for partial or total joint replacement of the hip, knee and shoulder as well as for reverse total shoulder replacement. We have over ten years of experience with the Oxinium components making up the “Thirty Year Knee.” And Ceramic on Ceramic hip replacements have become the norm for our active patients, both young and old. We perform ligament reconstruction of the knee including all arthroscopic ACL and PCL reconstruction, meniscus and cartilage repair and transplantation. We perform many hand surgeries under local anesthesia in an outpatient surgicenter including carpal tunnel surgery and trigger finger releases enabling almost immediate functional recovery. Minimally invasive techniques enable many fractures to be treated as an outpatient in the surgicenter speeding recovery and keeping costs to a minimum compared to hospital care.

Our state-of-the-art facilities and equipment further enhance our ability to ensure the best possible care. We invite you to visit our facilities to see for yourself what a first-rate treatment center should be.

Most importantly, at Fort Lauderdale Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine your treatment and recovery will be built on a personal doctor-patient relationship of trust, care and confidence.
